Autostar 3rd generation microwave (77Ghz, 2TR & 4RX) blind spot detection is developed by home R&D team. Based on accurate algorithm, with high detection accuracy, this latest generation BSD works greatly, and no false alarm. Compared to the 2nd generation sensor, the detection distance is even longer, it could reach 80m.
Besides the great performance, the most outstanding feature is the easy installation method.
The system consists of 1 millimeter wave sensors mounted under rear glass, one ECU, one buzzer, one pair of warning indicator and one set of wiring harness. The system is activated when the ignition is turned on. If there's object or vehicles being detected in the blind zone, the warning light will be lit, if the corresponding turning signal is triggered, the buzzer will provide warning beep.
