System Function
6.1 Self-Check Function After the ignition switch turned to the ON position and the power is applied, the radar system will perform a self-check. Based on the results of the self-check, the system will trigger an alarm.

1). The color bars are divided into 5 equal parts according to the maximum distance.
2). a. If the maximum detection distance divided by 8 is greater than 0.5m, then for distance ≤0.5m, display "-P-";
b. If the maximum detection distance divided by 8 is less than 0.3m, then for distance ≤0.3m, display "-P-";
c. At other times, for distances ≤ the maximum detection distance divided by 8, display"-P-".
6.3 Braking Assist Function When reversing, if the radar detects an obstacle behind the vehicle, it will control the steer-by-wire proportional motor to assist with braking based on the target distance and vehicle speed:
a. If the obstacle distance is > 5 meters, the braking assist system will not engage.
b. If the obstacle distance is 2-5 meters, and the vehicle speed is too high, the braking assist system will assist with braking to reduce speed.
c. If the obstacle distance is < 2 meters, the braking force will be applied at maximum and maintained.
(2) When the vehicle is not in "R" gear or if the target disappears, the steer-by-wire proportional motor will release the brake pedal.
(3) When the vehicle engine is turned off, if the vehicle is in a braking state, the brake pedal will be slowly released.
(4) Button Function:
a. When the system is on, pressing the button once will turn off the LED on the button and disable the braking assist function for 60 seconds, after which the braking assist function will automatically turn back on.
b. When the system is off, pressing the button once will turn the system on.
c. The button has no memory function; after the system is powered down and then powered back on, the system will be in the "on" state.

6.4 Learning function
When the sensor is not installed at the outermost part of the vehicle, it will detect the vehicle or the vehicle body accessories, resulting in false alarms. In order to avoid false alarms, it is necessary to learn the environment near the sensor installation location so that the sensor can identify the detected target as the body accessories.
Users need to follow the steps below to implement the learning function:
(1) Move the vehicle to an open area and confirm that there are no obstacles in the range a*b behind the vehicle except the body accessories;
A, a>4*L1, and a>3m;
B, b>W1+W2, and b>6m;

(2) Power on and wait for the system self-diagnosis to complete;
(3) Press and hold the setting key (4.5s-6s), the buzzer will beep once, the display will show "L0", and the system will enter the automatic learning function setting mode; release the key, then press the key briefly, the display will show "L1", the system will enter the automatic learning mode, and the learning result will be displayed after the learning is completed. If "LS" is displayed and there is one beep, the learning is successful; if "LF" is displayed and there are two beeps, the learning has failed;

6.5 Automatic brightness adjustment: The display detects the external brightness and automatically adjusts the displayed brightness;
6.6 Detection range setting: The detection range of the sensor is shown in the figure below. For different installation models and conditions, the detection area can be configured through the display button switch or the CAN bus tool through the PC configuration software.
L1: Rear Step setting, that is, the distance from the sensor installation position to the rear of the vehicle, the default is 0m;
L2: Alarm distance (setting range from 1-30m, accuracy is 0.1m), default is 10.0m;
W1: Detection width on the left side of the radar sensor (setting range from 1m-5m, accuracy is 0.1m), default is 1.3m;
W2: Detection width on the right side of the radar sensor (setting range from 1m-5m, accuracy is 0.1m), default is 1.3m;

6.7 Setting function
(1) Button setting function: Use buttons to set volume, display format, target detection, etc.

(2) Automatic brightness adjustment: The display detects the external brightness and automatically adjusts the displayed brightness
(3) Detection range setting: The detection range of the sensor is shown in the figure below. For different installation models and conditions, the detection area can be configured through the display button switch or the CAN bus tool through the PC configuration software.
L1: Rear Step setting, the distance from the sensor installation position to the rear of the vehicle, the default is 0m;
L2: Alarm distance (setting range from 1-30m, accuracy is 0.1m), the default is 10.0m;
W1: The detection width on the left side of the sensor (setting range from 1m-5m, accuracy is 0.1m), the default is 1.3m;
