Autostar’s Backup radar sensor systems based on 77Ghz radar technology are specially designed to detect people, vehicles and objects in rear blind spots of commercial vehicle, effectively reducing accidents. They are able to detect stationary and moving objects, providing the driver with in-cab visual and audible warnings – alerting the operator whose attention can not be focused on all danger areas. Backup radar sensor works effectively in harsh and in poor visibility environments including darkness, heavy dust, smoke and fog.

    Use PC-based configuration software to set width and length

    L1: Setup for Rear Step (sensor installation position to the tail of the vehicle) 

    L2:Setup for warning distance(range: 1-30m; accuracy: 0.1m) 

    W1:Left detection distance (range: 1-5m,accuracy: 0.1m) 

    W2:Right detection distance ( range: 1-5m,accuracy: 0.1m )
